Anderson Hays Cooper is a TV journalist and is also the primary anchor of CNN’s news program Anderson Cooper 360°. Cooper finished his studies with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trumbull College. In the early years of his career as a journalist, Cooper went to countries like Vietnam, Bosnia, and Somalia to film and document the life and culture of the people residing there. In 2001, Cooper joined CNN, and in the following year, he became their weekend primetime anchor.

In 2014, Cooper purchased his 10,127-square-foot Connecticut mansion, also known as the Rye House, for a price that was reported to be around $5 to $9 million. The Rye House features ten bedrooms, six full bathrooms, three partial bathrooms, a library, and an office suite. Rye House is a historic summer estate, developed for a rich widow in New York City, and in 2000 it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
