Born on July 15, 1946, Linda Maria Ronstadt is a retired singer who has been influenced by music since childhood and has dabbled with various genres such as rock, light opera, country, and Latin. Before her retirement in 2011, Ronstadt had won awards from the Grammys, the American Music Awards, and the Emmy Awards for her records. Throughout her career, Ronstadt had managed to sell more than 100 million records. She is given credit as one of the best-selling artists in history.

Before she encountered complications with her health, Ronstadt was recognized for having one of the most beautiful voices in her generation. Ronstadt gradually cut back on his performance due to voice problems, and held his last concert in 2009. In 2016, years after she retired, Ronstadt sold her Tucson home for $1 million.
