George Richard Chamberlain is an actor and singer, born on March 31, 1934, in Beverly Hill, California. Before Matt Damon, there was Richard Chamberlain and his performance as Jason Bourne in the 1988 film The Bourne Identity. Outside of film, Chamberlain is also known for the credit he has received in stage plays and musical theatre. He has won the Golden Globe award for Best TV Star in 1963.

In 2010, it was reported that Chamberlain was selling his Maui home for $19 million. The house is measured to be at 6,179 sq. ft. and has six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, which are divided between the main and carriage houses. The main house has two master suites, two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, and a powder room. The 1,980 sq. ft. carriage house, on the other hand, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an art studio, laundry facilities, and a living room.
