Sir William Connolly is a Scottish musician, actor, and stand-up comedian born in Glasgow, Scotland on 24 November 1942. Billy “The Big Yin” Connolly started his career as a folk singer with the band The Humblebums before becoming a solo artist. After his singing career, he became a comedian, which is what he is well-known for now. Connolly eventually found himself taking on roles for movies like The Boondock Saints, The Last Samurai, and Pocahontas.

In 2007, Connolly called for a moving company when he decided to move to New York. In 2016, it was reported that Connolly sold his New York home for $4.75 million to live a more outdoorsy lifestyle on the West Coast. His New York home has three bedrooms with each having its own unique style, a suite, three bathrooms, a home office, and additional storage space.
