Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman are what some people consider to be a Hollywood Power Couple. Joanne Woodward, born on February 27, 1930, is an American actress, producer and philanthropist. Paul Newman, born in Ohio, USA, is an American actor, director and producer. Newman and Woodward shared the screen more than once in films such as 1957’s The Long, Hot Summer, 1961’s Paris Blues, and 1990’s Mr. and Mrs. Bridges. Outside of film, the couple is known to help charity organizations, especially Newman’s Own Foundation.

In 2014, Woodward and Newman’s property, which is part of a 10-acre estate in Connecticut, was listed in the market for $7.5 million. The property includes a main house with six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, a carriage house, and a 200-year-old barn. Purchasing the entire estate would cost approximate $10 million. It is one of the most lavish investments on our list.
