Quincy Jones | Approximately $3 Million, Bel Air

Quincy Delight Jones Jr. first gained prominence in the 1950s, while working as an arranger and conductor for jazz music before proceeding to work on pop music and film scores. In 1968, Jones and his partner, Bob Russell, were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song for their song, The Eyes of Love, from the film Banning. In 1971, Jones was also given credit as the first African-American to be the conductor and musical director for the Academy Awards ceremony.

In 1986, with the money he had earned, Jones bought a house worth approximately $3 million in Bel Air. The house features four bedrooms and a tennis court. It is also a piece of music history since Jones lived here for a period of time. The house was reportedly once rented by Julio Iglesias, and Connie Francis, who is even earlier.
