Ronald William Howard is a director, producer, writer, and actor raised by parents who were also part of the film industry. Howard started as a child actor and received credit for his appearances in The Andy Griffith Show and The Twilight Zone. After years of acting for both film and TV, Ron Howard decided to focus more on directing and writing. A few of the films he has directed or wrote include 2000’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, 2006’s The Da Vinci Code, 2008’s Frost/Nixon, and 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story.
In 2014, Howard sold his Connecticut home for $27.5 million. Aside from its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the 17,200-square-foot home features six bedrooms, five bathrooms, four half bathrooms, and an enchanting view of the woods. He said that “It’s time to move on, but the memories of this very special place will never leave us.”
