Julie Andrews is an actress and a singer. As a child, Andrews was given a chance to train with the likes of concert soprano and voice instructor Lillian Stiles-Allen. Even today, Dame Julie Andrews still gives credit to the influence Stiles-Allen had on her. The actress has since starred in various Broadway musicals, including 1956’s My Fair Lady and 1960’s Camelot. In 1964, Andrews’ also made her film debut in Mary Poppins. For the role, she received an Academy Award for Best Actress.
In 2018, Andrews’ former mansion in London was reportedly listed in the market with a $33 million price tag. The 7,005-square-foot home includes six bedrooms, a private cinema, a private spa, a gymnasium, and a walk-out balcony. The building was built in 1835-1836 and the refurbished townhouse residence has been owned by many celebrities, such as Mick Jagger, and Nigella Lawson.
