Shelley Regner is a film, television, and stage actress whose first film role was playing Ashley Jones in the box-office hit, Pitch Perfect. Her character is one of the Insignificant Ones in the Barden Bellas, but she showed how she was having fun singing and dancing with the group. As previously mentioned, Regner she has an interesting acting career, having tried all three mediums. Some of her theater productions include Spring Awakening, Rent, The Producers, and Bronies: The Musical.

Regner is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned a degree in theater performance. She has been performing ever since she was little, which is why it is not surprising that she got the part of playing with the Barden Bellas. Regner was also on DCapella, a live-touring show for Disney where she was, yet again, working with the producers of Pitch Perfect.
