Leslie Jones had dedicated over three decades of her life to her comedy career by the time she joined the Saturday Night Live crew as a writer and cast member in 2014. Her career started in the late ‘80s, where she found herself performing at comedy bars at night while balancing a couple of other day jobs to handle the mortgage.
