The casting director of X-Men was really on point in hiring James Marsden, for the latter played the character flawlessly, embodying the nuances and physical features of the character, Cyclops. He was, to his credit, able to portray Cyclops’ unique superhero ability with ease and excellent timing. Moreover, James was able to act with style, performing Cyclops’ ability to release powerful rays of energy from his eyes, which he cannot control without the aid of special eyewear.

It’s not such a marvel, then, that he was chosen for the role as James has a heartthrob vibe that clearly shows in his other films, such as in Enchanted, 27 Dresses, and Hairspray. We wonder if one can get insurance for a pretty face as James’s face is most certainly his greatest asset. We love seeing him on the screen, so we can’t wait to see him in the future.
