Elin Nordegren

Elin Nordegren used to work as a model before she rose to fame as Tiger Woods’s wife. Although she hails from a well-established family in Sweden, life wasn’t easy for her as she had to work to earn pocket money. She applied as a cashier in order to pay for school, and when she was 20 years old, she landed a modeling job on the cover of Cafe Sport magazine in the early 2000s.

Nordegren worked at a clothing store when she met Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik’s wife Mia, who hired her to work as a nanny to her kids. The model accepted and called a moving company to relocate to the U.S. with the family. As luck would have it, she accompanied them to numerous golf tournaments, where she met Woods. The duo became smitten with each other and later tied the knot but sadly separated after six years of union. Now, Nordegren is a doting mom of three kids.
