Charlie Crist | $1.037 Million, Florida
Charlie Crist has been a long time figure in Floridan politics. Initially a Republican, he began his career during the 1990s after being elected to the Florida Senate, serving as one for six years. In the early 2000s, he served as Education Commissioner and Attorney General. He then became governor of the state from 2007 to 2011. Currently, he has switched parties to the Democrats and is serving as a representative from Florida’s 13th district. He has plans to return to governorship, running as a candidate in 2022.
Outside of politics, Crist has lived most of his life in Florida, even though he was born in Pennsylvania. He has owned some properties within the state. One of those is a 2736-sq. ft. condominium in downtown St. Petersburg. They bought the house in July 2015, when congressional boundaries were redrawn. Around the same month, he bought a beach house in St. Pete Beach. He sold the house in January 2017, with a net return of investment of around $124,000.
